KC Metro Cuts, a locally family owned sports themed hair salon, is actively looking for new stylists and barbers to join our team. You must have a current Missouri Cosmetology or Barber License. While we focus on men’s hairstyles, you should be comfortable using a variety of hairstyling techniques for all of our different customers. You must also have strong communication and customer service skills; our goal is for all of our clients to enjoy their experience in our salon and leave satisfied so they become regular customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Greet clients as they arrive and offer them a complimentary refreshment
Prep client for their haircut and ask what type of styling they want
Cut and style clients’ hair to their specifications
Engage in friendly conversation with clients
Keep your station, tools, and equipment sanitized and in good condition

Requirements and Qualifications

Missouri Barber or Cosmetology license
Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
Organizational and time-management abilities
Attention to detail
Reliable and committed to working scheduled shifts
Available to work evenings and weekends

KC Metro Cuts offers a newly remodeled, comfortable working environment with a relaxed dress code and flexible hours. The salon is in a fantastic location just west of I-35 and 291 Highway with plentiful walk in clientele. We offer hourly pay + tips + commission on product sales and direct deposit.
